Engooden care navigators
The backbone of our program - and everyday superheroes for our patients
- They directly and positively impact patient lives every day
- They are committed to protecting their patients
- They are friends, advocates, supporters, and translators
- They are supported by technology, which allows them to spend the time they need with their patients
The relationship we build with our patients is the beating heart of our business, and we measure our success by how much a patient’s life improves because we are in it.
Always be Learning
The only idea that has nothing to teach is the one we never try. We try lots of things to see if they’ll work, move fast so we can try still more, and remain forever curious about what comes next.
Simple does not mean easy. The work we do is complex and layered and the way we work - remotely - adds still another layer. We work every problem until the solution is as simple as we can make it, and then we work it some more.
Anyone who sees a problem can fix it, anyone who finds an opportunity can grab it, and no one will ever be disparaged for questioning the status quo. When we say to take risks and make decisions, we mean it.
As a mostly remote company, seeing each other in person is a rare and treasured opportunity, and yet we stay connected. We check in with each other, we care about each other, and we trust each other. When one of us has success, we all celebrate. When one of us struggles, we help. Our deepest connection comes from a shared commitment to our patients, and the relationships we build along the way.
"I love it here. Instead of looking at patients as numbers, this program can really help improve patient care and can help patients avoid nursing homes."
