IT Engineer

Engooden Health is looking for an IT engineer who is looking to grow, learn and pivot in a fast-growing startup environment. This is an exciting opportunity to join a technology team focused on providing the tools and services supporting our rapidly growing team. The ideal candidate is someone with intermediate IT experience that is looking for more responsibilities and variety in their day to day. We are looking for an individual who is eager to come in and learn our IT stack and own the end user workstation experience. In addition, your work directly contributes to and has a daily impact on improving the lives of patients with chronic medical conditions.


  • Contribute to the implementation, management and support of best practice tools and cloud vendors to support our rapidly growing team and ensure the reliability of IT systems
  • Manage IT service requests for hardware / software issues, service requests, and on/offboarding
  • Manage endpoint and peripheral logistics for fully remote workforce
  • Manage and build on provisioning, management and patching of workstations for our predominantly remote workforce organization (Windows, MacOS and ChromeOS endpoints)
  • Create and update IT documentation for processes supporting end users
  • Assist with operational monitoring and troubleshooting for systems supporting our business users
  • Assign, track and manage software licenses and technology assets
  • Support Ops, DevOps and security functions and tasks


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
  • 2-4 year's experience with Windows/MacOS/ChromeOS device setup and management
  • Experience supporting SaaS business applications, such as Google Workspaces and Office365
  • Experience managing patches to organizational endpoints (Jamf, Intune, etc.)
  • Experience packaging, updating and deploying business applications via device management and MDM tools
  • Eastern or Central time zone working hours preferred
  • Knowledge in AV/EDR alerting and remediation management
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experience with task automation and scripting with Powershell, bash or similar
  • Knowledge in cloud-based VOIP phone systems
  • Passion for learning new skills in the areas of infrastructure as code, configuration management, security and operational monitoring
